[Football] They Call Him Little Chili

One day in November 1998, Alan Smith scored a goal at Anfield in his first Premier League appearance. Suddenly, he was struck by a System claiming it would "save Alan, help him join Manchester United, reach the top, fulfill his football dreams, and become an invincible legend of the pitch." From then on, he embarked on a path of constant hard work, letting the System refine, adjust, and train him so he could reach the pinnacle of his football career in the future.

Except for one thing: the System always had its own agenda.

"You belong at Manchester United, Alan! You're a Manchester United knight! You absolutely cannot stay at Leeds United!"

And...

"Alan, I'm here to help you. You can think of yourself as the chosen one of football. I've chosen you, and trust me, I'll make you the greatest player at Manchester United!"

And also...

"I'll save you, darling! I'll definitely get you out of Leeds United. Just give me a moment to figure something out!"

As a "good-natured" young man, Alan soon got used to the System adding its own dramatic commentary. He could listen to its advice while automatically filtering out anything about Manchester United. He kept exploiting the System for free benefits, and his training results improved by leaps and bounds.

Then, a month later, another "System" appeared. Arriving late, this one claimed to be the will of Leeds United and said it had come for Alan. It just didn't sound very bright...

"Ah!! Alan! I've finally found you! Boohoo! I've missed you so much, darling!"

And...

"I'm Leeds United from a future timeline, the spirit of the Leeds United club. I've come to see you, darling! If you ever meet someone claiming to be the spirit of Manchester United, don't listen to it, whatever you do. It's a bad guy! A huge villain! It wants to steal you away, and it doesn't even take good care of you!"

Thanks to the arrival of the Leeds United spirit, Alan finally learned that the System with the ridiculously long name that had constantly been brainwashing him into switching to Manchester United was actually the disguised spirit of Manchester United.

Alan was furious!

"You showed up a whole month later than that bastard! A whole month!"

His dignity vanished in front of his bitter rival!

The Leeds United spirit's voice immediately softened. "S-sorry, Chili Pepper."

The Manchester United spirit casually fanned the flames. "Maybe it got lost. How strange. I must have wanted to find you so badly that I hardly wasted any time."

Chili Pepper was furious!

Chili Pepper was blazing hot!

A dream-come-true football career for Alan. Wish-fulfillment fiction.
