There's Nothing Special About This World

Suzumiya Hakuto is an ordinary high school girl.

Her outlook on life is the exact opposite of her cousin's, who eagerly longs for the "extraordinary." She thinks there's nothing wrong with being ordinary.

But after starting high school, she finds herself surrounded by people with overpowering personalities.

...Is she supposed to make them stand out?

Suzumiya Hakuto is fairly satisfied with high school life.

It's just that her teachers and classmates are all too eccentric. It seems everyone has artistic ambitions, and after finishing their work, they all love asking her what she thinks.

After reading the white-haired teacher's The Tale of Gojo, Suzumiya Hakuto asked in confusion, "Teacher, why are the characters in your story exactly the same as the ones in the other teacher's The Tale of Geto?"

The white-haired teacher replied, "Don't worry about that. Just tell me if my story feels real."

Staring at the words "cursed techniques" and "domains" filling the pages, Suzumiya Hakuto fell silent.

This...well, it doesn't feel real at all.

The principal, meanwhile, is passionate about performance art.

Every day, he and the school trustee stroll around school, one with a fluttering scarf and the other with flowing long hair, trying to pass themselves off as members of a secret organization.

The principal calmly smiles and announces that it's time for a "meeting of the five executives," while the trustee coldly tells someone over the phone to take out a certain bottle of liquor.

Suzumiya Hakuto: ...

So you're not even in the same organization.

Then her upperclassman comes to see her again, asking when and where he should meet the red-haired online friend who adopted five children.

Suzumiya Hakuto: ...

It really seems like our school is doomed.jpg
