I Heard My Childhood Friend Died

When Yamazaki Kyoka was twenty-seven, she went looking for her childhood friend, whom she had lost touch with long ago.

But when she asked at his workplace, a staff member told her mournfully, "I'm sorry. Hagiwara... has passed away."

Yamazaki Kyoka, who hadn't heard a word about it: ?

She couldn't accept it at all.

Luckily, she had the ability to "turn back time by one year," so she returned to age twenty-six, got up from her office chair, and hurried to the police station.

"I'm sorry," the staff member who received her said mournfully again. "Hagiwara... has passed away."

Yamazaki Kyoka: ...

She went back another year.

At twenty-five, twenty-four, twenty-three... When she returned to age twenty-two, she had even learned to answer before they could finish.

"I'm sorry, but Hagiwara..."

"Has passed away, right?"

The black-haired man was taken aback. He looked at her in disbelief. "How can you say that? Hagi was just going to buy a drink!"

"Little An?"

Yamazaki Kyoka turned around. Her freshly resurrected childhood friend was standing behind her with two drinks, looking as if he was about to cry. "Why would you say that? It makes me sad, you know?"

*Happy ending, one-on-one romance, pairing with Hagiwara

*Not much plot, mostly daily life and romance, with some Bungou Stray Dogs background elements

*Loads of personal interpretations, so out-of-character moments and logical inconsistencies are inevitable

*Angst warning. The female lead has gravity-based powers, which may be a bit of a turnoff
