[Superman-Centric Short Story] The Statue in the Square

On a clear spring day, the curtain was finally lifted from the mysterious statue in Planet Plaza.

The handsome statue stood atop a tall pedestal, smiling brightly at the curious crowd. A pair of ocean-blue gems formed his eyes, lending him a hint of melancholy.

Golden and silver leaves were affixed to his body. A vivid red cape was fastened around his neck, its sole button set with a golden garnet. The hem was secured to the pedestal beneath him as well.

He looked perfect.

People poured in from every direction to admire the statue.
