x

An omega shou who seems prickly and difficult but actually suffers from pheromone deficiency

A college-campus ABO story

In a nutshell: Childhood friends became enemies due to a misunderstanding, then fell in love after both lost their memories

Blurb:

Ling Yixiao comes from a wealthy family, is the handsome star of A University's medical school, and is a popular, high-quality alpha. But no one knows that he actually suffers from emotional detachment.

After an accident as a child left him with a head injury, he lost all his memories from before the age of twelve. The psychological trauma also caused an emotional disorder.

But that was also when he began hearing other people's thoughts.

From middle school through college, there was always a boy who glared at him and insulted him in his mind, calling him a scumbag and a pretentious jerk. But every time Ling Yixiao looked over, the prickly boy would run off, his ears bright red.

When he was in college, Ling's mother brought the sulky Lin Shaochen in front of him. "Something happened to Uncle Lin. Aren't you and Shaochen at different schools? Since we're close by, he'll stay at our place for now..."

Ling Yixiao said coolly, "This is the first time I've heard of a college student living with someone else."

Lin Shaochen was so angry that he moved into the dorms as soon as the semester started. As he left, he cursed Ling Yixiao in his mind for being a cold-blooded, heartless, sexless man.

Standing on the second-floor balcony and fiddling with the watch on his wrist, Ling Yixiao watched Lin Shaochen leave with indifference. For the first time, he wondered why someone who hated him so much kept coming near him.

Not long afterward, someone deliberately locked Lin Shaochen in a storage room while he was staying on campus. Ling Yixiao heard their thoughts and, for reasons he couldn't explain, went to save him.

The instant the door was smashed open, Ling Yixiao caught the milky scent of an omega's pheromones. Looking down, he saw that Lin Shaochen had hit the back of his head on some equipment and was bleeding heavily, his face twisted in pain.

"Help me..." Lin Shaochen said weakly.

Ling Yixiao bent down, protected the back of his head, and gave him first aid. Then, while Lin Shaochen gazed at him dazedly, he inexplicably bent down again and bit his gland.

When Lin Shaochen woke up, he had also lost his memory. He had even developed pheromone deficiency, which only affected him around Ling Yixiao.

From then on, though the two seemed like sworn enemies in public, in private Lin Shaochen would secretly lure Ling Yixiao into some deserted corner, pull down his collar to reveal his pale neck, and plead urgently, "Please, bite me again."
