The Tennis Prince Conquest Diary of Tetsuya No. 2, the Group's Favorite

Also known as: Tetsuya No. 2 Is Still Trying to Be Human Today

[Doggy story | System story | Rikkai Dai ensemble | Healing ensemble cast]

Tetsuya No. 2 spent its whole life as a happy little dog.

Every day, its job was to keep everyone company, beg for affection, wag its tail, and offer comfort whenever people were tired.

Until one day...

A strange white light fell from the sky.

When it opened its eyes again, it found itself in a completely unfamiliar world.

There was no basketball and none of its familiar friends.

Only a group of human boys who carried tennis rackets every day and gave off a terrifying aura.

And it had been bound to a strange System.

[Welcome to the world of Prince of Tennis.]

[The Host can take two forms:]

[Dog form: Heal others and earn feeding energy.]

[Human form: Learn skills and change the future.]

[Tip: The more precious the food you receive, the longer you can maintain your human form~]

Tetsuya No. 2 looked down at its little paws.

Then it looked at the imposing boy in front of it, whose face was utterly impassive.

It decided...

It would start by getting this human to pat its head.

Later on,

A magical little dog appeared in Rikkai Dai's tennis club.

Yukimura Seiichi prepared special treats for it after practice.

Sanada Genichiro said, “Don't be so lax,” but brought dog food right on schedule every day.

Yanagi Renji observed it with a notebook in hand:

“According to my data, Tetsuya No. 2 prefers being praised.”

Niou Masaharu grinned:

“Puri~ This little dog has a lot of secrets.”

Kirihara Akaya refused to let go of the dog:

“Captain! Tetsuya No. 2 is sleeping with me tonight!”

No one knew...

That this little dog wasn't an ordinary dog.

It came from another world.

Its mission here was to help Rikkai Dai change the outcome of the National Tournament.

To stop Seigaku from winning.

But...

When Tetsuya No. 2 stood by the court and watched the boys give everything they had for their dreams, it realized:

The championship might be important.

But more important than the championship were the people who ran with all their might and refused to give up.

“If I have to leave one day, will you be sad?”

The boys fell silent for a long time.

At last, Yukimura Seiichi gently picked up the dog.

“Then stay with us and enjoy every moment until you have to go.”

“Because you're already one of us.”
