Many years ago, Su Xun adopted a child from an orphanage, ostensibly to give himself a good reputation.
The few times he was home at first:
Child: I'm hungry.
Su Xun: Call me Dad and I'll make you instant noodles.
Child: Go to hell.
Su Xun: Then starve.

Until one day, the child said to him as he lay in bed, "I'm hungry."
Su Xun gritted his teeth, forced himself up, and went to the kitchen to make him noodles.
For the first time, the child wrapped his arms around Su Xun's waist of his own accord, pressed his lips to his ear, and whispered, "Do you think you can still beat me when you're injured?"

Much later, the child left with someone else.
One day after waking up, Su Xun received a bank card.
