Li Ke, an obscure artist, has just been laid off. At the lowest point in her life, she meets another nobody, Qiao Zhi, a third-rate spirit medium. Neither of these two talentless, ordinary people realizes that, despite being of little use on their own, they’ll go on to experience so many extraordinary little adventures!
Though similar in some ways and different in others, the two become ghost-hunting partners through a twist of fate.
From that moment on, they get swept up in a host of strange tales and encounter all the joys and sorrows of ordinary people.
During their perilous ghost hunts, they come up with one bizarre scheme after another. Meanwhile, their feelings grow warmer and more complicated...
No matter what happens, they support each other.
Maybe there won’t be grand, earthshaking romance or flashy cars and blazing passion.
But when that moment comes, when they share a smile across the room, they’ll realize their affection has grown over time and that neither can imagine life without the other.
