The Judge

At first, it was just a corpse that suddenly appeared on a street in the dead of night.

Everyone, including Shen Lin, thought it was an ordinary case. That was, until they saw countless spider-like monsters pouring out of the corpse, scrambling over one another. Only then did people truly understand what fear was.

They reproduced inside human bodies. Anyone whose skin was pierced by one of the monsters would become a new "host."

The bizarre creatures swept across the world in an instant. In just one month, the globe had fallen.

"It's the apocalypse! The apocalypse is here! It's here!"

People screamed in terror!

Shen Lin woke from a nightmare.

His throat was dry and raw, as if scraped by a knife. Frowning slightly, he got up and opened the door, then slowly made his way to the kitchen. The instant his fingers touched the water glass, he whipped around:

In the thin moonlight, a figure sat on the living-room sofa. The boy looked about eighteen or nineteen, cradling a pink stuffed bear as he gazed intently up at Shen Lin.

In an instant, Shen Lin, who lived alone, froze from head to toe.

People went mad with adoration. "The great Creator!"

Shen Lin looked up, but Shi Mi blocked his view.

Shi Mi said, "Don't look. That's not the Creator... It's a demon."
