Pei Jiangzhao has been kidnapped.
His captors nail him inside a completely sealed coffin, then sink it into the deep blue sea.
Just before he suffocates, Pei Jiangzhao suddenly hears a strange knocking from outside the coffin.
“Thump! Thump!”
One beat after another, forceful and strong.
Note: The love interest is a jiaoren from our Eastern legends. He has webbing between his fingers and a beastly nature. He's not a Western mermaid. In my opinion, these are two completely different creatures.
1v1, happy ending
