The Empress Is Hiding in My Golden House... [Fluffy]

[A fluffy beastfolk world where everyone can transform into something fluffy]

For sixteen years, Commandery Princess Zhaoyang had ruled the Imperial Academy with an iron paw. Her precious serval paws had never once held back for anyone.

That is, until she saw a beauty in plain white robes beneath the eaves of the Imperial University.

In that instant, the capital's little tyrant learned to tuck her paws into her sleeves. Her ears went flat with nerves, and all she wanted was to curl the tip of her tail around the beauty's ankle.

"You don't understand. I may not have any other talents, but I sure am lucky!"

The princess said smugly, and as luck would have it, she got to play the hero on a rainy night.

With half an osmanthus cake in her mouth, she leapt into a side courtyard, climbed over the wall, and rescued someone.

After secretly settling the "unconscious" woman in white on a soft couch, she wrapped her tail arrogantly around the woman's ankle and thought she really was incredibly lucky!

She had actually rescued the person she liked!

The woman in her arms only fluttered her lashes, keeping her expression unreadable.

And so everyone in the capital learned that the little princess had a "pet snow ferret":

It would copy her lessons to fool the Grand Tutor. It never got cross when the princess pinned its tail down with her cat paws while grooming it. Even when she sneaked a kiss on its ear, it only said helplessly, "Don't scratch the screen."

Until the day assassins stormed the side courtyard.

Zhaoyang charged into the burning building with her fur standing on end, only to see the "frail white weasel" smash an assassin's skull with one paw. The pouch that usually held her snacks spilled out a military tally from the frontier, and beneath the fur she'd bitten bald the night before was the vermilion phoenix seal reserved for the emperor.

"Zhaozhao."

The little white weasel leapt onto her shoulder, its fluffy tail brushing her stunned cat ears as it said:

"Don't be afraid, little kitty."
