From Spirit to Human

He Yi has suffered since childhood from her mother's chaotic harem intrigues. From a young age, she was determined to marry the person who loved her and whom she loved, and to be each other's only spouse for life.

But after starting school, she realized this was impossible. In this world, men outnumber women, and the law requires each woman to have multiple husbands. Even the royal family, and even the exalted immortals, are no exception.

So, stubborn as she was, she made a deal with an unknown deity: the deity would take her away from this world, and in return, she would sell herself to the deity and complete its various tasks.

What she did not know was that as soon as she left, another spirit would take up residence in her body. This spirit would live out her life in her place. And that spirit was her ancestor, He Yi.
