Blurb:
Ever since her little sister was born, Xia Wan has been a child her parents neither loved nor cared for. When she was seven, she was sent to live with her teacher because someone said, "You have a gift for music."
On her very first day at her teacher's house, her dad pushed down on her head and made her call Su Woman "Big Sister."
Looking at the girl in front of her, half a head taller, tall and beautiful, with a wall of medals behind her, Xia Wan's face fell.
--Big Sister?
Hmph. She didn't want a sister at all!
Xia Wan snorted and dashed out. Everyone searched for her all night, and in the end, Su Woman was the one who brought her back by the hand.
--
Xia Wan was rebellious from childhood. She fought with her parents, her teachers, and Su W oman.
As the old saying goes, "You can see what someone will be like as an adult at three, and what they'll be like in old age at seven." In the eyes of Xia Wan's parents and teachers, she was a disobedient child.
Everyone around them thought the little girl would cause a heap of trouble in the future and never amount to much. But no one expected her to become famous far and wide, a renowned performer.
Much later, Su W oman asked Xia Wan why she'd suddenly decided to practice the piano.
Xia Wan stared at Su W oman and said proudly, "I wanted to surpass you."
Su W oman then asked, "Why did you want to surpass me?"
Xia Wan didn't answer.
The truth was simple: she just felt that if she couldn't surpass her, she wasn't worthy.
This is a story about looking back and discovering that so much affection was hidden in all the effort you put in.
A mutual crush.
Rebellious and proud on the outside, but secretly falling hard and constantly eating her words (Xia Wan).
Cool and self-possessed in public, secretly observing and quietly keeping her in line in private (Su W oman).
※In my personal opinion, the story is much more inspiring than the blurb. It's definitely more enjoyable to read, too.
1. Romance plus classical music competitions.
2. Childhood friends, both girls. The story should begin in childhood, then the setting will move to Europe.
3. Both are hardworking, though Xie Wan relies more on instinct.
4. I want to try writing a relationship where they take turns in control, to indulge myself. The details will depend on what I'm into at the time (my tastes are the source of my writing). I hope it'll be evenly split. If it isn't, we'll make up for it in the extras.
5. I wrote the blurb casually. We'll see how things go. The character names and title may change, but the heart of the blurb will be less than a fifth of the story.
