Aberration

On July 30, 2023, a deformed child was born in the obstetrics and gynecology department of a hospital in City A.

The baby's head was ugly and misshapen, covered in a mane like a beast's, and the sounds it made were piglet-like grunts.

Yet it had limbs like a normal person's, with perfectly formed fingers, and even possessed human-level intelligence.

The mutation made people uneasy, and they speculated about its cause.

But some said this was a step in humanity's evolution.
