[Crime Investigation] Scum

This world has always been full of filth. Even in respectable, glamorous professions, there are scum burdened with sin. Generally speaking, we call them... degenerates.

-

Two months ago, Gu Liang brought home a boy he had found. The boy had pale skin, light-colored hair, and features so refined he didn't look entirely Asian.

If the boy hadn't stopped him, Gu Liang might have mistaken this consultant sent from the higher-ups for a missing child and taken him to the police station.

After working with the boy for two months, Gu Liang had instantly become fiercely protective of him. The boy had a beautiful voice, wrote carefully, and handled everything efficiently.

Who wouldn't want to work with a refined young man holding two doctorates, one in psychological medicine and the other in criminal psychology? Even if he wasn't useful, he would still make a lovely decoration.

Besides, the boy was incredibly useful.

No, there were probably some people who didn't like him, such as those... degenerates.

Hua Congshu knew he had criminal tendencies and might go astray one day. He wanted protection, and he wanted to live like a normal person.

He had always thought that was a wish he could never fulfill in his lifetime.

Until he met Gu Liang.

After observing him for a while, he decided Gu Liang could play many roles in his life: friend, family, and even... lover.

-

"My life used to be filled with bloodshed, violence, insults, arguments, and suffocation." Hua Congshu stood at the edge of a cliff and turned slightly to look at the person beside him.

"And now...?"

"Now I've met you."
