Everyone, please add my upcoming books to your reading lists! I'm begging you to save them in my author page. Love you all!
Yin Weiyue transmigrates into a melodramatic novel about exile and fleeing famine, as the wicked supporting female character who drugged the original male lead, only to accidentally end up in bed with his cousin, the current male lead.
In her previous life, after getting married, the original Yin Weiyue made trouble every day and was dead set on divorcing her husband so she could become his elder brother's concubine. Little did she know that her husband's entire family was about to be exiled, while her own family was about to be executed to the last person.
Stay married, and she goes into exile with her husband's family.
Divorce, and she gets beheaded along with her own family.
The moment Yin Weiyue transmigrates into the story, she is told that she shares the pain of her frail husband, one way only. Faced with the choice laid out before her and the husband she got for a bargain, she smiles sweetly.
Divorce? Not a chance.
This time, they'll put on the act of a model loving couple.
The whole family can go into exile together!
Of course, they need to prepare before they leave.
Get the awful relatives in line and whip into shape those who can't do a day's work and don't know a grain of rice from a stalk of wheat.
Washing clothes, cooking, and digging up wild vegetables are just the warm-up. Barefoot running, sandbags strapped on, five kilometers of cross-country training: the principle is, if it doesn't kill you, train until it nearly does...
Later, as the road into exile proves full of danger, Yin Weiyue leads her frail husband's family in outsmarting their guards, hunting for food, finding water, and evading rioters. She successfully becomes the backbone of the group.
At the same time, the male lead and the male supporting character start looking at her rather strangely.
The thing Huo Jun regrets most:
He was born into a family of military heroes, but his frail health forced him to give up martial arts and take up literature.
The person Huo Jun hates most:
His sharp-tongued, malicious wife, who is always calling him less than a man.
But when the Huo family is exiled, his wicked wife surprisingly refuses to abandon him. At a life-or-death moment, she does something completely out of character: instead of tending to his gravely injured cousin, she trembles as she lifts him, struck by an arrow, and says with tears in her eyes that she'll die with him. "Why do you keep getting hurt? Do you know that if you die, I'll die too!"
Huo Jun presses his thin lips together.
Could it be that his wicked wife has actually... fallen for him?
W-Well, that's not necessarily a bad thing.
Huo Kai has always hated Yin Weiyue. Even after she accidentally married his younger cousin, she kept pestering him. She was utterly shameless and despicable!
He kept his distance and never gave her a kind word.
But one day, Yin Weiyue suddenly stopped coming around.
From then on, she no longer cared about him.
Instead, on the road into exile, she looked at his younger cousin with loving eyes and cared for him devotedly, seemingly becoming a happy married couple.
Gradually, Huo Kai began to feel unsettled. For the first time, he took the initiative to show Yin Weiyue some kindness.
At first, Yin Weiyue had liked him. He was only putting things back the way they were. What had he done wrong?
"I'm her husband. Who the hell are you? Get lost!"
"Brothers' double serving (not really)"
"Get this straight, we're in exile. Why are you two competing over her?"
"I don't understand. I'm going to feed the chickens now. Cluck cluck cluck!"
※ Reader advisory:
Important: Later on, there are lots of scenes where the male and female leads refuse to say what's on their minds. Some readers have said the male lead suffers, but personally, I don't think he suffers. What do I do? Sob!
1. Extremely slow burn, with a large ensemble cast.
2. Not a strong-female-lead story. The male lead is basically a camera prop in the early part, but gets his moment later.
3. Set in an imaginary dynasty, with a great many author-created details. Please don't scrutinize them.
4. Romance and plot receive equal focus. The story doesn't go straight into the exile plot from the beginning.
5. The leads are each other's first and only sexual partners. The heroine does kiss the male supporting character, but it is an accident.
Next up: My Ex-Husband Became My Health Pack After I Transmigrated into a Book. Please add it to your reading list!
Everyone, I'll update according to the rankings before the book goes premium, then update daily afterward. Welcome to read it, and please add it to your reading list!
After her divorce, Yu Caixing accidentally transmigrates into an ancient romance novel, only to be told as soon as she arrives that her life force is about to hit zero.
At the crucial moment, a man suddenly rushes over and kisses her. The instant their lips touch, a prompt sounds in her mind:
[Kissing grants blood points. Life extended to twenty-four hours.]
Having narrowly escaped death, Yu Caixing is about to celebrate when she looks up and her face darkens. The man who kissed her is You Qiangu, her scumbag ex-husband from her previous life!
Yu Caixing never imagined that after divorcing You Qiangu, she'd see him again inside a novel, and in such an embarrassing, mouth-to-mouth way. She grabs a teapot and smashes it over his head without a word.
You know how it goes from here:
If she wants to stay alive, she has to rely on her ex-husband's kisses to replenish her life force!
But they already got divorced. How could she possibly get tied down to a scumbag again? He's just a human health pack, nothing more. So she promptly goes and takes a "mandarin-duck bath" with the younger brother who is, in name, her ex-husband's younger brother.
Who knew her scumbag ex would suddenly lose it? In the middle of the night, he crawls into Yu Caixing's room like a rabid dog and presses his lips against hers as he rants: "Does he look better than me when he's naked?"
*
A little scene about going crazy for love:
[The woman I love is getting married, but I'm not the groom!]
On the day Yu Caixing marries You Wanchen, You Qiangu is curled up under a narrow table. His face is as pale as jade, with a few smears of blood, and an unnatural light shines in his eyes.
Blood drips from his right palm, but he seems not to feel the pain. He reverently holds a silver five-pointed star in both hands, tilts his head, and looks at it with tenderness and grievance.
"Xiao Xing, you said you'd love me for the rest of your life..."
"But you broke your promise."
You broke it in our previous life, too.

Important reading guide:
1. This is the silly, sweet style I like, an old-school melodramatic romance, corny and packed with flashbacks to modern life. The male lead is the type who can't bring himself to speak his mind. It's pure romance. Every plot point, whether reasonable or unreasonable, exists to make them fall in love, haha.
2. The ending is one-on-one, and the male lead is the ex-husband. He never fell out of love or cheated in his previous life, and he is pure in body and mind. He loves her so much; he just can't say it, haha. And what do I do if I really don't think the male lead suffers? Sob! Whether this counts as angst is a matter of opinion. If you readers find the story uncomfortable, don't mind me, and feel free to abandon me. Of course, I'll always love you all. Heart!
3. The heroine has physical intimacy with the male supporting characters.
4. The male lead has a mental illness as a child. It is a genuine mental illness. It returns when he grows up because of love, and he recovers in the end because of love.
Theme: Keep striving and never give up.
My mood at this moment: Hurry up and tell me about Charming Orchid!
I'm really convinced [clown][clown] I just want to curse people
