Winning the Apocalypse by Being Unbelievably Unlucky

Yan Yan survived for thirty-five years in the apocalypse, and finally died.

When she opened her eyes again, she was reborn one month before the zombie disaster.

This time, she chose to lie flat.

She wouldn't stockpile food, vegetables, or weapons. In the future, killing zombies would make supplies drop, so getting enough to eat and drink in the apocalypse wouldn't be hard. The difficult part would be getting corpse crystals to level up and surviving amid mountains of zombies.

But after being reborn, Yan Yan couldn't shake her unease.

"Don't eat it..." Those were the last three words Xiang Hanuo yelled at her before she died in her previous life.

Don't eat what?

In her previous life, the base had been overrun by zombies. At the time, Yan Yan had been surrounded by hordes of them, and, oh, a bag of corpse crystals the base had accumulated over many years.

She gave a bitter smile and shook her head. Surely Sister Xiang hadn't meant, "Don't eat corpse crystals," right?

That idea was absurd. Eating corpse crystals was the only way ordinary humans could gain supernatural abilities. In the apocalypse, not eating them was no different from suicide.

A month passed, and the apocalypse arrived.

While all of humanity panicked, Yan Yan was the first to grab a knife and charge into the hospital morgue. She swung her blade again and again: one zombie, two, three... But after killing eighty-six of them, she hadn't gotten a single drop.
