I Opened a Food Street in the 1980s

Zhou Zhiyi was hit by a pot and transported to the 1980s, to a place where several members of a family were crammed together, with not even a private space of her own.

The pot claimed to be a food System whose energy was nearly depleted. As long as she could cook delicious food, its power would return, and it would send her back.

Zhou Zhiyi: "..." Do you really think I'd believe you?

Besides, you want me to cook delicious food? Just look at the state of this household.

A bedridden grandma, a lazy dad, a mother with a bad leg, hungry younger siblings, and her, completely dumbfounded.

Zhou Zhiyi promptly lay back down. "Can't do it. Find someone else."

The food System was even more dumbfounded than she was. It was the one at risk of being unbound! To motivate its Host, the food System had practically emptied its own coffers.

"Host, look, look! I've got all kinds of medicine here. Once you complete the tasks and your family takes it, they'll all get better for sure."

Zhou Zhiyi didn't believe it. She held out her hand to the System. "Give me one to try first."

System: "..."

Zhou Zhiyi: She can't cook, but she can eat.

The System had no choice but to give in. Eating works too! Host, hurry up and get to work. If you don't, I'm finished!

Later, Grandma was full of vigor, Dad couldn't sit still unless he was working, Mom could walk briskly, and her younger siblings waited on her hand and foot.

As Zhou Zhiyi sampled all kinds of freshly made delicacies and surveyed her food street, she felt thoroughly satisfied.
