After the Real Heiress Awakens, She Chooses to Lie Flat

Blurb

Yu Ziyan is the biological daughter in a novel about a real and fake heiress.

According to the original plot, she should listen to her adoptive parents' instigation, cut ties with her biological parents, and fight their adopted "fake heiress" for a man.

Yu Ziyan: Excuse me?

My parents have spent so many years searching for me. I can hardly wait to see them, so why would I cut ties with them?

As for the "fake heiress" they adopted, come on!!! She's her sister in every way but blood!

Her sister is the female lead of the novel, a powerhouse in the business world. With her around, Yu Ziyan will have more money than she can spend for the rest of her life. Why would she fight her for a man when she could be clinging to her sister's coattails?

After Yu Ziyan's awareness of being a supporting villainess awakens,

her adoptive family says, "We're the ones who raised you for over a decade. You can't be so ungrateful!"

Yu Ziyan refuses to be guilt-tripped: "You wanted to buy a son from human traffickers, but they tricked you and sold you a girl instead. You're just as despicable as they are!"

Then she helps the police take down the human trafficking ring that had been on the run.

After returning to the Yu family, Yu Ziyan lies flat.

"Mom, Dad, I'm just going to stay home and be Daddy's girl and Mommy's girl."

Yu's parents had been worried she wouldn't feel close to them. "Oh! That's exactly what we've been hoping for!"

As for the fake heiress female lead, who serves as her foil,

Yu Ziyan hugs her sister's leg. "Fly high, Sis."

Her sister asks, "And the next line?"

Yu Ziyan replies, "I'll lie back and relax."
