Bai Yu, an antiques restoration student, dies suddenly and transmigrates into a second-rate historical romance novel. And so, at some point, a remarkable woman emerges from among the refugees. Dressed in a white coat and wielding a matchlock, she takes aim at the Manchus' heads

After the fighting subsides and the Southern Ming regime is about to welcome a new ruler, Bai Yu lies in her little thatched hut, happily planning her retirement. Then Zhou Wuya, the man who has shared life and death with her and whom she personally helped ascend the throne, suddenly tells her, "Actually, my real surname is Zhu."
Bai Yu: "There are plenty of people with the surname Zhu in this world, wait... which Zhu?"
Zhou Wuya: "The Zhu of the Zhu Ming dynasty, the Zhu of Crown Prince Zhu Cilang."
