This novel: [Gentle, restrained top x gloomy, possessive bottom]
For as long as he could remember, Duan Yichen had always described his younger brother as lonely, quiet, in poor health, and a little pitiful.
He understood.
After all, Duan Qing had a hereditary mental illness.
Until... he saw the radiant, alluring Duan Qing in a video.
Duan Qing, wearing fluffy ears and an apron with nothing underneath.
He realized he didn't know this half-brother of his at all.

1. A devoted 1v1 couple, happy ending.
2. A short, sweet story, written for my own enjoyment. Don't expect much logic or brainpower. It's all about the sweetness! (The cover is our Qingqing!)
3. Hope you enjoy reading!!!

Preview blurb:
Jia Xin woke up one day and learned that he was just a cannon-fodder character in a cliched novel.
The System told him he would marry the frail protagonist to bring him good luck, be treated like a tool, and eventually die after suffering both physical and emotional abuse.
The only way he could survive was to kill his fiance.
But he still owed one billion, and he wouldn't get the money to pay off his debt until after the wedding!
While worrying over what to do, Jia Xin met a handsome, wealthy man.
Not only was the man willing to help him pay off his one-billion debt, he also wanted to take responsibility for him.
The only problem was that Jia Xin was ill and already had a fiance.
No matter.
Jia Xin thought, as long as he pays.
They carried on an affair, each getting what they wanted.
The man treated him so well that Jia Xin almost forgot about his emotional disorder.
Then one day, the man suddenly disappeared.
Jia Xin searched everywhere for him, but couldn't find him. Then, at the funeral of the fiance he had poisoned, he saw his lover's black-and-white photograph and a love letter.
The man wrote that he was guilty, that in his previous life he had borrowed years from Jia Xin's lifespan, and that he was sorry.
"Forget me and live well."
Jia Xin hated him.
On the day he was fated to die, he went to the cemetery, got dead drunk, and smashed the man's gravestone.
He came down with a high fever and had a breakdown.
After sobering up, he began to play fast and loose with life.
Spiked drinks, shady schemes, even late-night invitations: Jia Xin turned none of them down.
But every time, he brought along the photograph he had pried off the gravestone.
It was hard to tell whether he wanted to spite the man or torment himself.
Late at night, Jia Xin was supposed to have been lured to a hotel, but woke up somewhere else.
He felt the cold yet achingly familiar body beside him and slapped it at once.
The evil spirit gripped his waist and bit hard into his neck, dragging him without warning into a dizzying whirl of chaos and pleasure.
The strange scent of incense mingled with the smell of blood, sweat, and tears. Jia Xin tasted rust and the chilling presence of a ghost, while absurd joy and sorrow filled his dazed eyes.
Who said you could leave in a fit of self-righteous sentiment?
"Kill me. We have to be together."
Before the apocalypse arrives, we will escape our fate.

1v1, devoted to each other in body and heart, happy ending. An unconventional post-apocalyptic story!!! Pure brainless melodrama, with the focus on watching the drama unfold. The romance is bittersweet and mildly angsty. After he becomes a ghost, there will be forced intimacy, a groveling arc, and more (if you like fragile, unhinged widowers, jump right in).
Theme: Love can keep pain at bay
This is not literature that should be seen in Jinjiang 🤩
It smells so good, give me more, give me more 😏😏
