The acclaimed actor Rong Can died of illness, only to be bound to a Devoted Second Male Lead Acting System.
As the name suggests, he must travel to different planes and play the second male lead in novels. These days, being a second male lead is no easy job. You spend money and effort, and pour in time and care, but get nothing in return. You either die alone in misery or sacrifice yourself for the leads' love. Plenty of second male leads have quit, so to stabilize the planes, Devoted Second Male Lead Acting System 029 came into being.
The moment 029 finally found a suitable candidate, it jumped right in: Dear Host, complete the missions and you'll be rewarded with a chance to come back to life~
Though bound for no apparent reason, Rong Can was obsessed with acting. He smiled faintly. "I'd be delighted."
But as they went along, they realized the original plots had gone completely off the rails!
029: Why has the protagonist fallen for my Host?
Rong Can: I followed the character profile exactly. You can't blame me, and besides, I've completed my mission.
029: Of course, it's all the protagonist's fault! Get off my Host right now!
