Coming soon: Plucking the Spring Breeze
(A badass heroine with layer upon layer of secret identities * a scheming hero who both hustles and steals)
Volume One Blurb:
On her way to complete a mission, Kong Sang rescues a winged fairy. Before disappearing, the fairy transfers its special ability to her.
The good news: She can control plant growth.
The bad news: The ability works only sometimes, and a strange person is hunting her down.
She heads to the Third Base, built by humans, to replenish her supplies. Unfortunately, to solve its population problem, the base has implemented a Seed Program that forces unmarried men and women to marry and have children.
The moment she steps into the base, she's forced to marry an engineer named Chen Shaoyang. To carry out her mission, she secretly turns the Third Base upside down.
The first time, she sneaks into the prison and unlocks every cell door.
The second time, she ransacks the research institute, stealing all kinds of scientific equipment.
The third time, she blows up the sewers beneath the main city, sending things flying everywhere.
One day, she's just about to sneak out when a hard chest suddenly presses against her back. The man's warm lips brush her ear.
Chen Shaoyang: Where are you planning to cause trouble this time?
Kong Sang plays dumb. What?
Chen Shaoyang points behind her. The mess you've left behind is piled up into a mountain.
Later, after both of them fall from grace, they discover that they're sworn enemies.
Kong Sang: So you're the one who's been rejecting all my proposals?
Chen Shaoyang: I'm screwed.
