Yukimura Ritsuma was called the strangest captain in Rikkai University's history...

He served as captain for only one year.

He led Rikkai to its first national championship.

After high school, he disappeared from the tennis world. When he resurfaced, it was in an interview about the national championship in a volleyball magazine...

Byodoin: I'll never forget the day he asked me to get revenge on him with a volleyball.

To Yukimura Ritsuma, tennis was probably just a toy to keep his little brother company. Even after winning the national championship, tennis was still too boring.

After winning the national championship, he decided it was time to take up a new hobby, such as... volleyball.

He had no idea if he had any talent for it, but surely volleyball wasn't a sport where people died, right?

Inarizaki recently got a new god, but he was a god of tennis.

Inarizaki Volleyball Club: Did you take a wrong turn? This is the volleyball club!

Yukimura Ritsuma: I'm in the right place. Kami will lead you to victory. (Joins his hands together) (A holy light appears)

They say Hyogo's foxes are hard to tame, and the foxes at Inarizaki are even more unruly. But...

That day,

a god appeared.

The protagonist is a prodigy.

Don't go by the title.

There will be Prince of Tennis plotlines.

Once again: volleyball is a team sport, so they won't become champions right away.

The whole story is an alternate interpretation, with a lot of OOC.
