Can a Machine-Caliber Species Fall in Love with the King of Curses?

Chinatsu didn't like Sukuna.

He was crude and domineering. He wouldn't let her get close to anyone else, yet he only gave her a meager amount of shallow affection.

Chinatsu, a machine species from another continent whose entire body was made of machinery, didn't know whether that counted as love. She could only analyze data synchronized from Shubi and conclude that it probably did.

Was that so?

Chinatsu didn't understand.

All she'd done was beat Sukuna up the first time they met. She really didn't understand why he kept pursuing her.

Chinatsu asked Sukuna, "[Question] When will you stop following me?"

"I mean, when are you going to get rid of that weird catchphrase?"

Sukuna said,

"When I finally beat you."

Chinatsu: "[Denial] Impossible."

Impossible! Absolutely impossible!

If Sukuna ever managed to land a hit on her, there was no way any of her parts would survive.

She'd be scrapped!!!

Unable to reason with Sukuna, Chinatsu ran away.

She set a sleep program for herself.

After a thousand years of sleep, surely Sukuna would be dead by then, right?

But why could she still run into Sukuna in the modern era?!

Sukuna: Trying to get away from me? Hmm?

Sukuna's vessel, Itadori, pondered for two seconds before asking sincerely: ...Wait, am I part of your play, too?
