After working diligently for years as a time-space repairman, Wang Ergou is finally about to retire with honors.
To reward their top employee, the department gave him a vacation world along with his retirement bonus, with all expenses covered. Drawing on the traditions of his hometown, Wang Ergou put on an elaborate show of refusing the offer before finally accepting it, outwardly reluctant but secretly delighted.
"I'm not one to sit around. If you feel sorry for me, just find me something easy to do," Wang Ergou declared righteously.
"Oh, that's easy," his supervisor said cheerfully.
"I've heard people say that being a goalkeeper in Italy is the easiest job in the world. Go there and find somewhere to play goalkeeper."
And so Wang Ergou happily took a step into a new world.
"Damn you! I knew there was no way you, you heartless slave driver, would be this nice to me!!!" Wang Ergou howled in anguish as he clutched a football flying at him like a cannonball.
