Wait, Why Are None of You Human??

[Please add my upcoming story, "This Strange Love [Nonhuman]", to your reading list~] [Also, check out my danmei story "The Cannon Fodder Dresses as a Woman and Charms the Dragon-Blooded Protagonist"] [Going premium on April 17. Updates will move to around midnight (^▽^)] You transmigrate to a strange land and become the adopted daughter of a fisherman in a remote fishing village. Your adoptive brother is a lunatic who flies into a rage at any moment, while your adoptive parents are occult fanatics bent on using you as their lucky fishing charm. To stay alive and find your way home, you work hard, selling fish by day and fighting monsters by night. You occasionally sneak off to raise little pets, maneuvering between your adoptive brother and his foolish second-generation friends as you look for an opportunity. Luckily, one of those second-generation guys takes the bait. The bad news is that just as he does, you have to go out to sea. You set sail with the fishing boat, and your neurotic brother, who has been tormenting you all along, suddenly disappears midway through the voyage. Since you can't pilot the high-tech ship, all you can do is cast your net far and wide, hauling in as many people as you can. Except... One. Two. Three, four... You stare at the scaly upper body of your adoptive brother and the foolish second-generation guy curled up with his tentacles, both of whom you've just hauled up in your net, and fall into deep thought. Wait, none of you are human? Wait, why do you all have fevers?! To be continued Important notes: 1. The setting is an extremely chaotic mashup. From the start, there's one picture, and everything else is made up. It's entirely fictional, with no research or historical accuracy, just for fun. 2. My version of nonhuman means the protagonist is sometimes human and sometimes something else. 3. Inspired by fairy tales. Theme: True love above all
