Even after racking up a record of 99 losses, Tian Shang Ziyou, one of the Elite Ten at Totsuki, still couldn't beat the game. It wasn't until her hundredth time entering the game that she gave up and chose a route everyone avoided: the King of Curses route. The King of Curses route includes, but is not limited to, the following: [Exit function disabled. Player locked in.] [Pain-blocking function terminated. Sensory synchronization rate on this route: 100%.] [King of Curses route anti-negativity notice: All deaths the player suffers before completing the game can be rewound. This effect is triggered automatically.] From then on, not only did she acquire an unpredictable, sadistic tyrant, she was also forced to max out all kinds of skills for slacking off and staying alive. After successfully logging out of the game, Tian Shang Ziyou returned to her peaceful life. Sometimes she put on a show in Yokohama with glowing food, and sometimes she snuck into some Jujutsu High to work as a cafeteria lady (?). She was having a great time. But can someone tell her why this boy who just showed up at her internship counter looks so familiar, and why he's staring right at her with all six eyes?! Important notes: 1. This is an unconventional fantasy food story, inspired by the official guidebook for the King of Curses. 2. The King of Curses is out of character, and will be much more humane! 3. The story will probably cross over with InuYasha, Bungo Stray Dogs, Food Wars, and others, with Jujutsu Kaisen as the main setting. New story, "I Became a Hot Character After Synchronizing with Live Comments": Kaneda Hifumi always thought she was an utterly ordinary person, and that the world was utterly ordinary too. That was until one day, something called [live comments following the latest chapter] appeared before her eyes, along with a countdown showing she had only five minutes left to live. Only then did she realize the truth: she was a bit-part cannon fodder character in a shonen manga called Jujutsu Kaisen, and the kind who died as soon as she appeared. Kaneda Hifumi: What the hell?! To avoid her miserable fate as cannon fodder and defy destiny, she decided to change her life. And so... Live comments following the latest chapter: [A random passerby at the start is about to die in a chain car crash caused by a cursed spirit!] Kaneda Hifumi: Got it. Today, I'll swim across the bridge! Live comments following the latest chapter: [This one is obviously cannon fodder. She's about to die in the alley on her way home, and then my wife will come solve the case!] Kaneda Hifumi: No way. I'll climb over the wall to get home. Live comments following the latest chapter: [That old geezer from the Time Vessel Association is about to... Huh?? I'm seeing things! How did the leader of the Time Vessel Association turn into a girl?? Did the anime change the story?] Kaneda Hifumi: The wheel of fortune turns. I'm not cannon fodder anymore! As the comments poured in, Kaneda Hifumi watched her remaining lifespan tick up by one, feeling so pleased that she couldn't help bursting into laughter atop the Time Vessel Association leader's luxurious high-rise. Just then. Live comments following the latest chapter: [Changing who's in the role doesn't matter, right? This is an important plot point. Anyway, the leader of the Time Vessel Association has to die!] Kaneda Hifumi: ...Damn! She's changing the association's name right now. Kaneda Hifumi was a cannon fodder character in a new anime project based on the hugely popular manga Jujutsu Kaisen. She was originally supposed to appear and die immediately, but for some reason her story went wildly off the rails. From an unremarkable passerby to the supreme leader of the Time Vessel Association, she eventually became an indispensable hot character in the main cast, with her popularity soaring all the way. As the story progressed... A gifted shikigami user who was supposed to die was given a new lease on life because of her, and the Star Plasma Vessel was saved. The boy hosting the King of Curses changed his fate of "dying surrounded by others" and was no longer burdened with an undeserved crime. Live comments following the latest chapter: [Waaaah, my wife! I'm bowing down on behalf of my fave! From now on, I'll only buy merchandise of you and my fave!] Kaneda Hifumi: Another 365 days added to my life... At this rate, will I become immortal and ascend to heaven in broad daylight? This feels great! She should go stick close to the main cast a few more times! #Who says only those standing in the light can be heroes# (From the song "The Lonely Warrior") Theme: Food is the people's first necessity
