As a professional plane cleanser, Sui Yin has the classic face of a venomous beauty and a wicked sense of humor.

When he returned to the insect world after completing a cleansing mission, his longtime rival, who had suddenly fallen from power, came to him seeking shelter and, on top of that, challenged him to a wager.

Three months. They would bet on who fell in love first. Either the winner would be decided when the three months were up, or they could kill each other to end the wager. The victor would claim everything the other had.

Sui Yin had no idea what his rival was after, but he always had a little more patience for the female insect he had personally hatched and raised. Besides, this world was terribly dull, and he needed to find some amusement before destroying it.

He agreed.

The next day, Ge Fei, the former Speaker who had been missing for days, appeared at the military headquarters as Sui Yin's adjutant.

By day, they were inseparable, each scheming against the other. By night, they shared a bed, whispering and nuzzling close.

Sui Yin's randomly refreshing sense of morality hadn't even had time to protest before Ge Fei smacked it away.
