And so Shen Ze was struck by lightning. A lousy rock knocked him into another world, where he was bound to an absurd System!
It actually wants him to bring the human male and female leads together! What if that white fluff isn't the Matchmaker's long beard, but my fur?
But faced with the immense power of faith the System promised him, Shen Ze shamefully gave in.
The reward would be enough to let him laze around for several thousand years.
So he had no choice but to grit his teeth and play matchmaker. But how did the red string end up connecting him to the female lead's older brother?
The cold, aloof man before him kept a blank expression, outwardly doing everything he could to get in the leads' way, but secretly going wild petting his tail.
Shen Ze puffed up and swatted at him. "Let go, you stupid two-legged beast!" But when the man's exquisite, perfect features drew close and his long fingers rubbed Shen Ze's sensitive belly, his tail rose uncontrollably. "Ahem, you're good-looking, so I'll let you pet me."
Nangong Yu had loved all things fluffy since childhood. Unfortunately, his naturally expressionless face frightened fluffy creatures of every kind, so he had never managed to win the affection of even one. They all left in a huff.
Then a little white cat appeared. He tentatively pinched its raised tail and won himself a blushing little cat.
So Nangong Yu kept his blank expression as he ruffled the little cat's fluffy fur into a mess.
Early on: One stubbornly refuses to give in, while the other secretly pets the cat.
Later: One begs to be petted, while the other can't get enough.
P.S. A fluffy, illogical sweet romance. Everything is made up.
