The Autumn Mood Deepens

"Steady and restrained x gentle and independent"

"Male unrequited love / second male lead takes the lead / aloof beauty falls / a little love triangle"

After his younger brother dies unexpectedly, Liang Jinyan naturally takes on the responsibility of looking after his brother's fiancée.

He's careful and reliable, and has hardly ever made a mistake in his life.

Even around his younger brother's fiancée, his manner and behavior remain beyond reproach.

-

Everyone says Liang Jinyan is the most responsible elder brother there could be.

But Liang Jinyan alone knows

how shameless and despicable he is, and how badly he wants to take advantage of her vulnerability.

-

One night, Lin Wanyin has a nightmare.

Liang Jinyan passes by and slows his steps. Only when he faintly hears her sobbing does he allow himself to go inside.

In the dark, unlit room, with only a little moonlight, Lin Wanyin mistakes Liang Jinyan for someone else while half asleep.

When the embrace ends, they both come to their senses.

To keep things from getting too awkward, Lin Wanyin lowers her eyes and murmurs, "You look so much like him..."

"Do I?" Liang Jinyan asks coldly, looking down at her.

Lin Wanyin looks up in surprise, about to speak.

A shadow falls over her as Liang Jinyan suddenly bends down, grips her hand, and presses it to his chest. She feels his powerful heartbeat and hears his low voice, strained with barely restrained emotion: "...Then try thinking of me as him."
