[Fresh Premise] We Promised We'd Be Together Forever

Long after they got together, their friends asked over beers, still baffled, "How did you two realize you'd actually fallen for each other?"

Fengjian Che froze for a moment. He pursed his lips and glanced at Nohara Shinnosuke, who was grinning mischievously as he read the question on his phone. Fengjian's mouth twitched a few times, but under Nohara Shinnosuke's uniquely bright, starry gaze, he could only sigh awkwardly. "The high school sports festival."

Nohara Shinnosuke giggled and leaned against his sweet, soft wife. His hands settled naturally on Fengjian Che's collarbones, his voice teasing and unconsciously affectionate. "Hehe. I've been saying it since I was five: We're the best of friends, with a very special relationship."

As he spoke, he kissed Fengjian Che's earlobe, right in front of Zhengnan, who couldn't bear to watch. Then he gave him a bold, possessive smile.

[He's mine.]

[He always will be.]

[Maybe you don't know this, darling, but you're the salvation I've found through all these long years.]

"Promise we'll be together forever." They began making good on that promise at twenty, and would keep looking after each other for the rest of their lives.

A few things to know before reading: 1. Pure love, pure love, and more pure love (hands on hips JPG) (excitedly starting to write a sweet romance)

2. There may be some OOC moments. My writing isn't great, and I'm a beginner. This is my first time writing a sweet romance and a relationship arc, so feel free to discuss anything you don't like in the comments.

3. From age five in kindergarten to age twenty in college, fifteen years that belong only to them, yeah!! (Told through flashbacks)
