Working Hard to Promote Myself Again Today

Wen Baishui is an actor like a glass of plain, cooled boiled water, someone nobody pays much attention to.

Why call him cooled boiled water? Because whatever a director adds to him, he takes on. Acting ability, for instance. It sounds magical, but most people can't be bothered to watch a glass of cooled boiled water.

Then, in an utterly ordinary late August, while Wen Baishui was wondering whether group-buying coupons were any good, he received a perfectly ordinary script. It had no bizarre or magical plot twists. It was simply a good, normal script, and his co-star was a senior actor he'd worked with before.

Wen Baishui: "! What are we waiting for?"

He accepted. He was ready to splurge on two cups of milk tea later.

The good news: He was prepared.

The bad news: He hadn't prepared enough.

Because this was a two-male-lead drama.

Wen Baishui thought for a moment, asked the senior actor what he thought, and read the script carefully. He even paid to read the official original novel overnight. In the end, he still accepted the role.

Unexpectedly, the drama became a hit.

The CP fans shipping him with his senior, Jiang Zhi, went from a handful to an unbelievable number. When Wen Baishui found out, he was going through withdrawal and had nothing to do. He opened another video of their pairing in the middle of the night, only to be shocked to discover that, in the video, he and Jiang Zhi had been dating for three years.

[He had no idea that he and Teacher Jiang were already so madly in love]

Honestly, this one was surprisingly fun to ship.

Artificial sugar, but it hits the spot every time. Jiang Zhi wouldn't actually like him anyway, so why not indulge in one sweet moment?

Please note: This story includes scenes from the drama within the novel. Both leads are actors.

VS: The cover was drawn by a particularly beautiful, kind, generous, funny, and brilliantly talented friend with a wonderful personality. Hehe!!!

Theme: Work hard and reach the top.
