Background:
Amid the chaos of war, the State of Qin resolved to grow strong and enrich its people, casting aside every outdated custom. Duke Xiao of Qin invited Wei Yang to implement reforms and change the state. These reforms are known to history as Shang Yang's Reforms.
This story follows one episode from those reforms. Against the backdrop of the cruel punishment of nose-cutting inflicted on the eldest prince, Ying Qian, for the reforms, it tells the story of a woman who loves Prince Qian in secret.
The narrative is clean and clear, and the story has twists and turns. I hope that the follow-up can reflect this epic history of Da Qin from the side.
