At some point, posts about paranormal phenomena began circulating all over the internet.
Although the clothes he'd tossed around the day before would be washed and hung up the next day, the persistent suitor who'd given him a headache suddenly disappeared one day, and even after he showered at night, his body would feel sticky again the next morning... Chu Xiu still thought his life was perfectly normal.
Maybe he'd tidied up his clothes while sleepwalking. Maybe his suitor had moved away. Maybe the sticky feeling was just sweat from tossing and turning in his sleep.
Everything was fine. There wasn't a single problem.
It was all nonsense, and he wasn't going to believe it. After all, he was a teacher, and he taught political theory. He firmly believed in Marxism-Leninism.
Then one day, a group of people with ID badges knocked on his door, saying they were conducting a routine investigation. They asked who had lived in the house.
“Just me and my boyfriend.” Chu Xiu pushed up his glasses. “Officers, I'm a teacher, and he's a pig butcher. We're both law-abiding citizens.”
The visitor continued, “Why are you the only one here? Where's your boyfriend?”
“He died in a car accident,” Chu Xiu replied briefly. “About six months ago.”
The person looked apologetic, then offered a tactful warning. “Things have been unsettled lately. You should be especially careful if someone close to you has passed away recently. If you experience anything unscientific, remember to contact us.”
“Thank you.”
After seeing them out, Chu Xiu shut the door. Someone suddenly pressed up behind him, held his chin, and kissed him, then asked what he wanted for dinner.
It was his boyfriend.
“Let's have pasta.” He wore an expression that was almost happy. “I just bought tomato sauce yesterday.”
There was nothing strange about that.
After all, ever since his boyfriend died, he hadn't been quite right in the head.
Little extra:
It was late at night again. Su Ze watched Chu Xiu come home looking exhausted, carrying a pool cue smeared with some unknown substance, then go to the bathroom to wash the sticky blood off himself.
Su Ze said sorrowfully, “Honey, honestly, I don't think it would be so bad if I died...”
Chu Xiu gazed at him tenderly, his voice gentle. “No, darling. There's still hope for you.”
Su Ze felt even worse. “If I'm only holding you back...”
“Shut up.” Chu Xiu cut him off, his expression turning cold. “If I say there's hope, then there's hope. Don't you understand?”
Su Ze shivered. “I-I understand...”
Chaotic evil, controlling, unhinged bottom x laid-back top who's decided to just go with the flow
.
1. The top isn't a pig butcher.
2. Haven't thought of anything else yet. I'll add more later.
