What Kind of Healer Carries a Chainsaw?

[Completed, originally published on Jinjiang, chapter comments are open] Blurb: Yosano Akio, male, 35 years old, a graduate of the University of Tokyo and currently one of Japan's youngest top surgeons. He has a younger sister named Akiko. On a sunny day, Yosano Akio was wearing a gender-swapped cosplay outfit of “Akiko” when, during a group photo shoot after a convention, he unfortunately transmigrated into... a certain high-risk jujutsu set?! Shrunk down to 16-year-old Akio: ? Shouldn't this be a different set? * Light fell over the chaotic battlefield. A vast swarm of white butterflies appeared abruptly before everyone's eyes, drifting down from the sky. Limbs were reassembled, torsos restored, and the humans who had been twisted into cursed spirits slowly returned to their original forms... Where blood stained the ground, the silver-winged dream butterflies bestowed new life like angels upon everyone standing at death's precipice. [Please Don't Die] Every jujutsu sorcerer present froze. “Good thing I made it.” Black ankle boots ground through the battlefield dust. The uniform he wore was so spotless, it seemed completely out of place here. A metal butterfly earring hidden in his long hair swung into view as Akio tilted his head. Seeing everyone staring at him, his purple eyes crinkled with amusement. “What? Don't recognize me anymore?” A few things to know before reading: 1. The protagonist is not the original Akiko. He transmigrates while cosplaying a gender-swapped version, so his personality differs from hers. He only borrows some aspects of the character's setup, so you can basically think of him as an original character in borrowed clothes. 2. The story follows Toji's route from the start. Gojo may not appear until after chapter 20, when the Tokyo Jujutsu High storyline begins. 3. The Culling Game will not be covered. 4. Happy ending. There will be a little Bungo Stray Dogs content later on. 5. I'll do my best to avoid making the characters out of character. I don't accept unsolicited advice. If it's not for you, feel free to leave; no need to tell me you're dropping it. * Check out my upcoming story, “With a Technique Precision of 1, Of Course I'll Be a Support!” Blurb: Kitami Haruya, an utterly ordinary office drone. He gained plenty of experience as a corporate wage slave while everyone else was still in school, and now he's starting his fifth job: Jujutsu sorcerer. It sounded like the ultimate fantasy of some rumor-spreading organization, but with the salary on offer, Kitami Haruya accepted the job offer in no time. Kitami Haruya: Even hesitating for a second would be disrespectful to my wallet. After enrolling at Tokyo Jujutsu High, Kitami Haruya quickly met his new colleagues: a silver-haired guy in sunglasses, a guy with earrings and baggy pants, and a big sister who played with cigarettes like lollipops. Good heavens, this place is so cool it hurts! The country boy Kitami Haruya was self-conscious for just one second, then quickly ignited the flame of his wage-slave spirit. Facing a row of people, Kitami Haruya gave them his practiced eight-teeth smile and introduced himself: “Hello, I'm Kitami Haruya.” “I'll beat you at working.” * Kitami Haruya's cursed technique is [Sunlight Shines Upon Me]. It alters light to reach extremely high temperatures and produce flames. But something seems to have gone wrong. His technique, which once burned through the sky screen, can now only produce the tiniest sparks. So Kitami Haruya bought Ieiri cigarettes for a week, and finally learned by chance that... He was a cursed energy on-off switch. His bug-like cursed energy reserves only let his technique reach its maximum or minimum output. “Why?! Gojo-senpai!” “There's no particular reason. But it looks like you can't use cursed techniques freely at school now, Haruya.” That's right. To avoid accidentally burning through the floor and having to pay astronomical building repair costs, the penniless Kitami Haruya had no choice but to play dud. And when he went on missions with his fellow classmates, he could only serve as the cigarette-lighting hype man so he wouldn't interfere with their training. This was simply... amazing! He could make a few sparks, slack off, and still get paid! “Wow, what a blissful life.” Dust swirled inside the curtain as a classmate's call drew closer. Haibara ran over, shouting, “Kitami, stop enjoying your blissful life! How did that cursed spirit catch fire?!” Kitami Haruya looked at the familiar flames and snapped his fingers. “Oh! How'd those sparks land over there?” “It's all yours, Haibara.” Kitami Haruya got to his feet and took off running. “I didn't bring money today, so I can't pay for the repairs.” Haibara: ??? You don't have to pay for the mission, Kitami! A few things to know before reading: 1. The protagonist is a native of this world and is in the same year as Nanami and Haibara. 2. The protagonist is a genuine support character early on. At most, his damage is like a time bomb. 3. There will be no sequel. The story is currently planned to cover the original plot through Shibuya. Whether I write beyond that depends on how things go. * Theme: Give everyone a happy ending
