The Detective Forum System Is Forcing Me to Be a Sickly Beauty

What's it like to be a sickly beauty in a world of detective fiction that's been nuked into peace?

Mizuhara Fu: Thanks for asking. I'm in Beika Town, trading gunfire with Gin, and just as I'm about to shoot his plane down, I pass out :)

These days, even transmigration Systems have to find their own niche.

Mizuhara Fu had always dreamed of being the main character, but instead got bound to a sickly beauty System. If he could become a popular character on the forum, he could come back to life in the detective world and get a healthy body.

Mizuhara Fu: I can make up my own backstory, right? I want to be a powerful tycoon, from a family deeply connected to the main plot, with ties to the police, too.

System: Sure.

Mizuhara Fu: I want to be able to freely adjust my past before the main plot begins, and make a name for myself with both the Red and Black sides.

System: Sure.

Mizuhara Fu: Finally, I want to try out my reward early during the mission and get a healthy body.

System: Sorry, dear. That's not allowed. We're a sickly beauty System, and for the sake of dramatic tension, we've randomly assigned you an illness: narcolepsy.

Narcolepsy, as the name suggests, is an illness that makes you pass out whenever and wherever, without being able to control it. The System's products are impossible to diagnose, and even when you collapse, you'll do so gracefully, inspiring people's sympathy.

System: "I'm sure your extensive experience as a sickly beauty will win over the forum and make you a popular character!"

Mizuhara Fu: "..."

Got it. A custom character profile, huh?

What's wrong with you Systems? Didn't you look into my style before recruiting a Host?

Mizuhara Fu: "Just checking, this illness doesn't have any side effects apart from making me pass out now and then, right?"

System: "? That's right, but why are you asking?"

Mizuhara Fu: o(∩_∩)o
