Sang Fu transmigrated into a withered tree growing in a dump on a garbage planet.
With every debuff stacked against him, his start was a disaster. Before Sang Fu could get a transmigrator's golden finger, spaceship after spaceship was already dumping garbage on him.
Crushed under the weight, Sang Fu angrily flipped the sky the bird. What, just because it's another world, you don't have to sort your trash?
If you don't erupt in silence, you go weird in silence (literally, you change shape). Sang Fu pulled his roots out of the ground and began wandering around, picking up and sorting trash. Along the way, he also picked up a scruffy little bird.
Thirty years east of the river, thirty years west. Never look down on a scruffy little bird. Sang Fu cooked meals and boiled water with pots and bowls he'd found, and worked hard to grow fruit and raise the bird. He raised it until it was golden and fluffy, and it even gave its old dad pretty feathers.
Then one day, amid thunder and lightning, the whole family turned human.
Good grief! The bird he picked up and all the trash he collected had turned into people!
*
Sang Fu didn't know that in the interstellar era, natural life forms were dying out. Interstellar people with human forms and second forms whose mental powers collapsed and couldn't be healed could only wait in despair to become mindless beasts or cold objects. Exiling themselves to desolate planets and waiting to die was their fate.
But one day, the withered tree in the wasteland sprouted green with life.
P.S. The mental state here is, uh, rather lovely? (▼ヘ▼#)
