In the Apocalypse, You Treat Me Like a Dog? [GB]

The day after Ye Zhenzhen moved into her new home, a bloodied, mangled zombie was plastered across her front door. Seeing the gigantic vines inside the house nearly break through the ceiling and the strange things gradually appearing around her, Ye Zhenzhen, with more than ten years of reading experience, quickly realized that the apocalypse had arrived.

What terrible news.

Fortunately, she was fairly lucky. She soon gained an ability, found companions to fight alongside her, and acquired a mutated beast companion that many people envied.

Ye Zhenzhen put a lot of effort into training this imposing big dog. Aside from its minor flaws, like eating too much, shedding everywhere, being a slob, and being far too clingy, she was quite satisfied with it.

Recently, though, it seemed to have changed its ways. It ran off whenever it pleased, grew unusually resistant to its usual petting sessions, and its attitude toward her kept swinging between close and distant.

What should you do when the dog you picked up stops behaving?

Ye Zhenzhen was so frustrated that she considered setting it free. But the dog was just too handsome, and it was hard to let go. In that case, she had no choice but to train it again.

One day, Ye Zhenzhen expertly tied up the dog as it tried to pounce on her. The thick fur beneath her hands suddenly turned into firm muscle. The vines that had been tangled in its fur tightened abruptly with the transformation, mercilessly leaving bright red marks on the skin beneath her hands.

Ye Zhenzhen: Wait, nobody told me some people have the ability to turn into beasts???

Looking at the man in front of her, who wouldn't stop cursing and grumbling, Ye Zhenzhen's stunned silence didn't last long. The familiar knots were soon tied again.

A few minutes later, after seeing what the plants around her could do, the man finally shut his mouth, sulking.

Ye Zhenzhen: Just as I thought. Whether it's a dog or a person, a little training is what it takes to make them behave. (∩_∩)
