This Landlord Is Up to No Good

It's already halfway through my zodiac year, and with the help of my red bitter tea, Yu Shaochuan is in good health. On top of that, he has a new tenant, so his savings are steadily growing. Everything is looking up, except...

A fortune-teller predicted that his romance star would shine this year and that he was destined to attract admirers. As someone who has been single his whole life, Yu Shaochuan can't help getting his hopes up.

But so far, he hasn't seen the slightest hope of finding a partner.

Then again, the fortune-teller's main job is shoe repair, so Yu Shaochuan feels better about it. Whether he finds a partner or not doesn't matter. It's his zodiac year, after all. As long as he stays safe, that's good enough.

Shu Lang recently moved into a new place. The rented apartment is great in every way, except that his landlord next door seems a little too enthusiastic, which makes Shu Lang wonder.

After all, what landlord buys groceries and carries water for a tenant, checks in on him, and even brings him food from time to time?

Much later

Shu Lang: So it turns out you don't do this just for me. You do it for everyone.

Yu Shaochuan: Isn't it normal for a food blogger to share some food with the neighbors?
