Pre-release novel: Gin and the Convenience Store Owner Switch Bodies Just as Gin is about to shoot the undercover agent in front of him, his vision goes black, then bright again. The person before him has become an old woman with white hair. "Hey, girl, thread this needle for your grandma." Chinese, and in a dialect too, but he can just about understand it. His hand moves faster than his brain. He pinches the needle in one hand, then moistens the end of the thread with his lips. Every so often, Gin switches bodies with a woman from a neighboring Chinese country. He's stuck in this small-town social circle, looking after an old woman and spending all day doing trivial chores. Meanwhile, that woman named Xu Wanwan... Cuts his hair, makes his underlings slack off, and even befriends high school students... Premise: Stay true to what's right, even in difficult circumstances.
