A Half-Term Girlfriend

After they moved in together, Shang Yingzhu always stormed out after a fight. At first, Jiang Hui would panic and search everywhere for her. Later, as work kept him busier and busier, he got used to letting her calm down and come home on her own. So her absences grew longer. A quick calculation showed that she spent more than a week of every month "going home to clear her head" or "recharging at a friend's place." Still, after every ten-day absence, Shang Yingzhu would get her emotions in order and come home, and their relationship stayed as sweet as ever. During the month of their fifth anniversary, Jiang Hui decided to surprise his girlfriend. He made all the preparations, overjoyed at the thought of proposing to Shang Yingzhu, but she got upset over another trivial matter and left again. Unable to sit still, he searched for her everywhere. At last, both Shang Yingzhu's parents and her best friend gave him the same answer: "Yingzhu? She's never stayed here. Hasn't she always been living with you?" * Tan Weiqing loved his girlfriend very much. He thought everything about her was wonderful. His only regret was that she was so busy that they could usually spend only one week a month together, day and night. He missed her so much that he secretly noted down her online shopping address and bought a necklace she'd been eyeing for ages, hoping to find her and surprise her. But when the door opened, another man was living there. More absurdly, the man punched him as soon as he walked in. ++++"A girl needs to be coaxed.
