The Childhood Friend's Guide to Winning Over Cats

How does a handsome wildcat tame early humans? Click to watch the taming in action. Featuring:

[The cold-blooded, cat-hating Alpha school bully]

[The germophobic, twisted Sentinel]

[The gloomy black fox novelist]

He takes them all down in one go!

After completing the mission, Mo Baili was about to close the handbook when he noticed there was still one target left. The target marker was nearby.

He quickly turned to look at his childhood friend, who smiled and asked, "What's wrong?"

There wasn't the slightest sign that anything was amiss.

Mo Baili pursed his lips. "You. You're lying."

His childhood friend's smile didn't change. He asked, "Why do you have a tail behind you?"

Mo Baili froze, then an uncontrollable black cat's tail appeared.

Mo Baili had always thought the heavens favored him. Otherwise, how could he have gotten a so-called golden finger? A strange book called The Pet Owner's Guide gave him special abilities. Every time he captured a human, he would progress further in his transformation into a cat, until he was fully unlocked.

But after each mission, the pet owner began to look more and more like his childhood friend. It bothered Mo Baili a little.

His childhood friend was a good person with impeccable character, the sort who fed stray cats whenever he saw them. How could he be such a scoundrel?

Only later did Mo Baili learn that it had all been his childhood friend's plan.

Reader's guide:

The handsome wildcat is the pursuer, the childhood friend is the pursued, and he's the pet owner every time.
