On a midsummer night when they were seventeen, Xu Ming whispered in his ear:
"Meng Zeyu, I like you."
The following summer, when they were eighteen, Meng Zeyu said, "Xu Ming, I'm going to England."
They embraced at the airport to say their final goodbyes.
At nineteen, Xu Ming sent him her most heartfelt blessings.
At twenty, she said to her mother:
"Mom, I won't come back in my next life."
And also...
Meng Zeyu, Meng Zeyu, I don't want to love you anymore.
That night, a heavy spring rain fell outside the window.
She remained in her favorite season forever.
