Records of the Five Mysteries

Lu Li comes to Baijia Village for the first time to attend his grandmother's funeral.

Everything about the village seems strange.

Uncanny dreams.

Eyes watching from everywhere.

Villagers who act strangely.

Outsiders who appear without warning.

Forced into the mystery, Lu Li begins searching for the cause behind it all.

This was once a remote village, but one day it suddenly became a tourist destination. The constant stream of visitors brought a constant stream of money.

To keep the prosperity going, a price must be paid. But what will that price be?

The Five Powers Gods have been worshipped since ancient times. They are common folk deities, neither wholly good nor evil. The one thing that never changes is that they never spare those who blaspheme against them.

In the hills behind Baijia Village, hidden beneath the shadows of the trees, stands a temple to the Five Powers Gods, burning with incense. Behind it lies an unclaimed graveyard. Who is buried there? That is the most forbidden topic in Baijia Village.

Theme: Strive to survive, no matter where you are.
