After My Husband Died, I Fell for His Ex-Wife

Blurb:

Jiang Qian's rich husband died.

The whole internet was waiting for the spectacle.

After all, Jiang Qian was the kind of pretty actress netizens looked down on most: no education, no substance, no body of work, just beauty and a good figure. The only reason she had a place in show business was that she married a wealthy and powerful man, latching onto a golden goose.

Now her golden goose was gone.

Everyone was waiting for her to crash and burn.

Jiang Qian carried on as if nothing had happened, eating and drinking as usual. Not only did she avoid a fall from grace, her career flourished more than ever.

Netizens: That makes no sense.

Then the media caught Jiang Qian in a same-sex dating scandal with renowned director Shen Xinyan.

Netizens: Ohhh, so she's latched onto a new golden goose.

Wait.

That's your husband's ex-wife, for goodness' sake.

When did you change your sexual orientation?

Jiang Qian: Is it possible I've always been gay?

A little scene.

Jiang Qian: "Director, want to sleep your way to a role?"

Shen Xinyan: "...Please behave yourself."

Shen Xinyan never dreamed that after working on a film with Jiang Qian, she would end up involved with the wife of the man she had once married for business reasons.

CP: Shameless, pretty actress x serious director, six-year age gap

P.S. The female lead isn't perfect. Both female leads are lesbians, not bisexual. The late husband is a plot device, and dies from the start.

[Blurb for upcoming novel My Marriage Match Is My Date's Mom:

I went on a matchmaking date. Here's the conversation I had with my date.

"What kind of person do you like?"

"Someone rich. A trust-fund kid would be best."

"That's great! My mom is super rich, worth hundreds of billions, and the richest woman in City X. I'm her only heir, a bona fide trust-fund kid. What do you think of my credentials?"

"Pretty good. Can I see a picture of your mom?"

"Sure! This is my mom. Isn't she beautiful?"

"What should I do? I think I've fallen for your mom."

"..."

On the day of my matchmaking date, I fell for my date's mother.

Usual content warning: Same-sex marriage is legal in this setting. The rich kid definitely isn't biologically related to her mother. Why write it this way? Obviously because I like a little excitement and older women. In short, this couple really does it for me~]

Theme: Even in the desert, a flower can bloom among the thorns.
