A Butterfly Flew Past a Leaf Boat

"You are my butterfly, a feast for the world."

1.

After her family falls on hard times, Chi Lu is forced to move to Fangding Town and stay with the brash, handsome Xie Jinzhou.

He's a wild dog through and through, more rebellious at heart than anyone.

That day, he pinched her chin and said arrogantly, "You're not my type!"

2.

During a car race, Xie Jinzhou was desperate to win. He did, but he was injured too.

Chi Lu's voice was hoarse. "Xie Jinzhou, are you crazy?"

"I am crazy! I want to win for you!"

All his desires and fantasies had something to do with her.

But the boy lost his butterfly.

3.

Six years later, she has gone from a fallen heiress to a top-tier star, while he has gone from a dazzling race car driver to a down-and-out architect.

The two, worlds apart, meet on the set of a romantic mystery film she is starring in, and he unexpectedly passes the audition.

The night of the audition, Xie Jinzhou gets drunk and pins her against the wall. "Big star Chi, don't you hate me? If you've got the guts, hate me for the rest of your life!"

Chi Lu pushes him away. "When did I ever say I hated you?"

He doesn't answer, only murmuring, "You're mine, my butterfly."

"The moon has gone missing, but the stars will shine forever for you in the heart of that eighteen-year-old boy."
