Litton Xierwen: No.

If he got the chance to answer that question again, he would say with absolute conviction: I do.

Litton Xierwen is a junior researcher on the “Revival of Ancient Creatures” research project. Every day, he works a dull, lonely job on an isolated island with his coworkers and his beloved pet, a red crested gecko named Xiaohong who has undergone a mutation.

He wakes up on a towering cliff, overlooking a dense, seemingly endless jungle. Standing there, he takes a deep breath. If he believes in God now, will God protect him?

Jungle survival: You can question a researcher's stamina, but never his brains, especially if he's a researcher of ancient creatures.

Starting a fire with sticks is a piece of cake, building a grass hut is no problem, and he's great at hunting, too.

As Litton Xierwen leisurely roasts meat over the fire, he keeps an eye on the black panther hiding behind the bushes. The System has assigned him a task: successfully heal every “mutated” animal here. Can he do it without anesthetics?

Crossing the snowy mountains: Can he survive the bitter cold and food shortages, and make it over the mountains without any climbing gear?

He makes climbing shoes from vines he found earlier, clothes from ancient animal hides, and a walking stick from a sturdy branch.

Eyes and ears alert in every direction, he avoids avalanches and the dangers of low temperatures.

Desert survival: Temperatures above 40 degrees, scorching ground, and poisonous scorpions buried beneath the sand...
