When a Dumbass Gold Digger Meets a Feudal Patriarch

Xu Xingyan has just left the college entrance exam hall when, the very next second, he finds himself transmigrated into the body of an engineering graduate student buckling under an overwhelming research workload. As a humanities student, Xu Xingyan feels like the sky is falling.

The research group's deadlines grow more urgent by the day, and the faculty advisor's expression gets uglier by the day. Worse still, Xu Xingyan is facing the prospect of being unable to graduate because he can't write his thesis.

But after parting ways with the Yang family, he suddenly starts paying attention. Xu Xingyan's collarbones, the beauty mark at the corner of his eye, his slender waist, and, of course, that pretty face keep appearing in Shen Xuheng's mind.

Their next few encounters only make Shen Xuheng's desire surge higher.

After the banquet, at the hotel.

Xu Xingyan's door opens to reveal a tall man in a loosely open bathrobe, who squeezes his way inside.

The man corners him at the foot of the bed. "I heard you plan to pull strings for someone else. No need to go looking far. You can pull strings for your own fiancé."

Xu Xingyan: "...What can I pull strings for you about?"

After learning that Xu Xingyan is worried about his thesis, Shen Xuheng says, "I have a few unpublished SCI papers."

Xu Xingyan blushes. "I didn't know you were so impressive."

Shen Xuheng goes rock hard in an instant.

Xu Xingyan regrets it a little as soon as he sits down. He feels like he's going to split apart.
