A brainchild I'm saving for later.
Xing, a sentient star core, the Galactic Baseballer, the great King of Trash Cans, and a Trailblazer, once finds a game console during a trip through the galaxy.
If she can find March 7th in the galaxy, then finding a game console shouldn't be surprising, right?
The full-dive game is great in every way, except it has no option to buy in-game currency. Miss Ruan Mei has been busy with research lately and is always offline. Screwllum can only be encountered in the Simulated Universe. Her adoptive father, Dr. Ratio, is too sharp-tongued, and lately he's been with the Interastral Peace Corporation. As for Herta... she's worried Herta will add the console straight to her collection.
So Xing starts playing a full-dive game about building a simulated company. But the people she finds all seem to have some pretty strange stats?
Xing can only see the NPCs' evaluations of themselves in their initial profiles. Their stats only gradually unlock after they become employees...
She's completely baffled.
Where's the hardworking, work-loving Osamu Dazai she was promised?
Then one day, the Astral Express crashes into a swarm's nest. To get everyone out, Pom-Pom resolutely engages maximum thrust, at the cost of temporarily damaging the train.
At that moment, the game console she never parts with releases a massive vortex that sucks everyone aboard the train inside. They land at her game company.
"So, this isn't a plush toy?"
Osamu Dazai bends down curiously.
Looking at the train conductor's expression, Xing stares straight ahead and makes things up:
"No, this is an AI mascot made with our company's core technology."
Who would have thought the company in the game would become real!
Core theme: It's life. Just take things in stride.
